Maybe here is not the most appropriate place to do it but ...

It's taken me a while to gather up the nerve ..

There's no turning back so, here goes:

There is something about you that makes me do things I thought I never would.

I have lied to the people I love.

I've hidden you from my children.  In the closet.  Under the bed.

I've skipped lunches with my girlfriends and dinners with my family just to have time with you.

I've walked miles and driven hours just to find you.

You add a certain excitement, a certain spice to my life that nothing else can.

I need you in my life.

There, I've said it.
